U.S. News & World Report has recognized Baptist Health South Florida as a High Performing center for Prostate Cancer Surgery for 2025–2026 — a program led by Dr. Murugesan Manoharan, one of the world's leading robotic prostate cancer surgeons.

Leading this program is Dr. Murugesan Manoharan, Chair of Urology at Baptist Health South Florida and one of the globally recognized leaders in robotic prostate cancer surgery. A high-volume robotic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in urologic oncology and performed thousands of robotic prostatectomy surgeries, Dr. Manoharan has dedicated his career to advancing the surgical treatment of prostate cancer while maintaining a strong focus on quality-of-life outcomes, including urinary continence and sexual function.
In addition to robotic prostatectomy, Dr. Manoharan offers advanced minimally invasive treatment options for localized prostate cancer, including High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and NanoKnife® irreversible electroporation. These technologies expand treatment options for carefully selected patients seeking effective cancer control with minimal disruption to their quality of life.
